Do not buy from “Miller Tires West Avenue”.
My front tire needed to be replaced due to a puncture, since I was in Quezon City at that time, I went to West Avenue, knowing there are a couple of tire shops in the area, I checked out the prices and Miller tires had the best price, so I purchased 2 tires. Everything seemed ok, until the wheels were balanced, the wheel that had the punctured tire was balanced with no problems. The wheel with the good tire, which I also replaced, wiggled, they offered me to have the rim fixed. Since I live in Cavite, it was out of the question, and I have a suki rim repair near my place. So I paid for the tires. I was amazed that the balancing cost P270. REMEMBER balancing is usually free with new tires.
I then visited my suki rim repair shop to have the rims repaired/checked. When they removed the wheel they noticed a small piece of metal in between the rim and the wheel hub. They then asked me if I purchased my tires at WEST AVENUE. I was surprised they asked me this, how could’ve they known I purchased it at West Ave. I said yes, then they asked me “kay Miller ba?”. Wow. Then they said that this shop really does this a often its there modus operandi to get more money, by repairing wheels that are perfectly ok, they even said that it was all over the internet.
Anyway I had my rim rebalanced; the wheels don’t wiggle/vibrate anymore.
DO NOT buy from MILLER TIRES WEST AVENUE!
